| Training classes - what age?
I have been reading through the posts and notice that a lot of people don't start serious training until their pups are quite a good age. My pup started obedience this week at only 15 weeks. I know this seems very young but the trainer actually owns a Rottie and was keen for me to start. Any books I have read recommended 8 months as a starting age. Anyway she seemed to enjoy it and seems to enjoy the practice exercises, the treats anyway. There was another rottie there at seventeen weeks and the owner said he enjoyed it as well. Could training this young have any consequences I don't know about? |
