| Osteosarcoma
My 8-year-old rottie, BJ, was diagnosed with bone cancer a year and a half. His front leg was amputated and he's been doing extremely well ever since. However, two weeks ago, a new cancerous tumor was found in his hind leg. Naturally, this can't be amputated, so we're just waiting. The vet has given him 3 to 8 weeks. So far, the etogesic he's on has maintained his pain. I know he's headed to the Rainbow Bridge before long and it's almost too much pain for me to handle. I just wanted to share my sadness. |
