| need something to stop licking
Hey - does anyone know of a way to keep a dog from licking? When Birdie had to get the thorn removed from her eye, the vet shaved a bit of her leg to put the IV in. Now that the hair is beginning to grow back, it is getting itchy for her, and she keeps licking it. It is starting to get red and irritated from the licking and I don't want it to turn into an open sore. When I am with her and I see her do it I tell her to stop and she does, but I am concerned that she is licking it (I'm sure she is) during the day when I'm not there. Is there anyway to prevent this?
