| I agree with Birdie's Mom. I don't have any children yet, but I have a couple friends who have recently had babies, and they turn your world upside down! Puppies are also babies, and they need lots of time spent socializing and training to become stable adults (especially for Rottweilers!).
I would recommend that you have your (human) baby, and then think about a dog again in a year. Even then, I would think about getting a temperament tested adult rescue from a reputable Rottweiler rescue organization rather than a puppy.
