Neither Akasha nor Keil have full run of the house yet. They will be a year old October 30 and I seriously doubt that even then they will be allowed to be unsupervised in any part of the house, especially Akasha. Keil can be left out at night in one of our bedrooms (as long as it is 'puppy proofed") because he is really good about just sleeping all night. Akasha is still into EVERYTHING! No matter how well I think I have "puppy proofed" a room she STILL finds something to get into. I have to keep her occupied at all times or she starts looking for things to entertain her on her own I think that it will still be a while before she can be trusted to have full run of the house.

I have a baby gate in the hallway blocking them in the front part of the house. There is usually someone out there with them. I do feel comfortable leaving them out there unattended while I take a quick shower but that is pretty much the only time. I do hope that eventually they will be able to have more freedom but for now this is best for them and us;)
