All of our puppies are sold on a contract basis. Health guarantees come with pet quality or show potential pups. Pet companion puppies are required to be spayed or neutered and show potential puppies are required to have health certifications and earn certain titles prior to being bred (unless agreed to in writing by both parties). Our pets are $750, show potential pups are $1500. We health certify all of our breeding stock and do as much as possible to produce sound, healthy puppies. I guess the proof of our pudding is that we are still here after being involved in this breed for over 18 years. I was fortunate that when we started out, we had excellent mentors who led us down the right road right from the start. We've never strayed from that path.

We stand behind our puppies and have many, many puppy clients to give as references. We stay in contact throughout the life of the dog and are happy to say that we have clients that have purchased 2-3 dogs from us at different times. Once they are comfortable with us and how we run our program, they just don't want to go anywhere else to get their next pup.

I agree, people buy from BYB because they are everywhere, their pups are cheap and they talk a good story. Unfortunately, their stories are not backed up with support and guarantees.
