| I, too, love my vet. I was referenced to him by my previous vet who went into ER work. I was very apprehensive about a new vet because Chivas had had more then her share of boo-boos and was nervous when she went to the vet.
I was able to stay with her during ALL procedures which made her much more relaxed. He never muzzled her nor made her sit in a kennel for hours before a procedure, he would call me 20 mins before her procedure was to be done, (dental, xrays, etc) and I would bring her there, they would do the procedure and I was able to sit in the recovery room with her while she woke up.
When she was battling osteo and I was hysterical with fear and grief, he even called me several times while in WA state ( i am in VA) as he was visiting his terminally ill mother. At the time I had no idea where he was or what was going on in his life.
When Chivas passed, he wrote me a wonderful card and called me several times. He also donated $200 to RottweilerHealth in Chivas's name. He is one in a million.
