| I'm no expert - but there's so many different types of mold, and some can be very harmful - causing permanent lung damage. I have a very rare and weird lung condition, and I did research on lung diseases - it's amazing how many are caused by various tyes of mold spores, very common in agricultural parts of the world.
No way for me to know if you have harmful or benign mold, but shots or no, I'd use the straw for mulch and get something absolutely dry and mold-free for the pups!
