| Our neighbor's dog constantly barked, begining at 5:30am. I live on a street where just about every house has 1-2 dogs. One morning around 6:30, a policman knocked on our door. Someone around the block had called the police and told them of the constant barking. He was unsure which house they were referring to, since all the houses have dog. I explained to him that my puppy sleeps at least until 8:00, and than he will only get up if I leave the room. I know he thought I was crazy. The short end of the story, was there has been no barking at 5:30am. Once in awhile I will see this officer driving up and down our street in the morning. So I take it, that one can get ticketed for this behavior. I'm sure if you were to press the issue, just the fact that you have a 2-year-old son, would bring immediate results. I think you have gone out of your way, which most people would not do. Now it is time for your neighbor's to be responsible for their dogs. |
