This is just an idea, I do it all the time. It helps with shedding, allergies and dirt. I vacuum the dog, I have one of those attachments that looks like a hose, and away we go. I usually do this before I wash the floors, since his hair is everywheres. My puppy likes it. He will sit patiently while I vacuum him up and down. For really good results brush him first. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but his coat is really shinny.
