I think it's GREAT that you are giving this a try! At least now you will know that you have tried everything and if it doesn't work well you gave it your best try.

I have had allergies since I can remember. I am allergic to all animals, dust, grass, weeds, ect. I take medication every day just to be able to deal with my animals. I take Zyrtec and it works really good! I don't know if you are willing to try medication but it has really helped me. I also use Flonase nasal spray and Provental inhaler for my asthma. I still get sick and I still get hives but not as much as I used to.

I know that alot of people don't think it's a good idea to bathe their dogs very often but I have found that I have to keep mine pretty clean to keep them in the house and they get bathed about once a week. Sometimes I will skip a week but if I go any longer than 2 weeks I really pay. Right now the puppies need a bath pretty bad and every time I touch them I am breaking out with hives. Since they are so bad I am waiting for my daughter to bathe them for me, otherwise I will get really sick.

An air purifier really is a good idea. Also don't allow her in your room so you have a place to go to get away. Don't let her on your furniture either otherwise that may cause a problem for you when you sit on it (I know it does for me). Try vacumming her also. Wednesday I am going to order a vacuum for the puppies because I think that will really cut down on the amount of hair.

This is the first time I have been able to have a large dog in the house. After having both dogs kept outside and dogs inside I will never keep my dogs outside again. I have really noticed a difference between Akasha and Keil and the outside dogs I have had in the past. Inside dogs have a big advantage over dogs outside.
