sleeping outside 2, the solution.

Ok, after a total ear bashing on my previous post, I decided to do something about my allergies.

People slagged me for getting a dog. Well I have good reasons for getting a dog. I have always wanted a pet companion since I was a little kid, but I couldn't due to allergies and my parents not wanting dogs. Now that I'm older and have moved on, i've been able to do that in my own house. Although I get allergies, I still have the dedication, love and committment to own a companion and care for it. whenever I'm home, my dog is next to me getting spoilt rotten. We go to obedience, do all sorts of training together, go on holidays, hikes, etc.. I do all this with allergic reactions.

I went to my auntie last night who is a pharmacist and asked for something that reduces allergies to dogs/cats. She gave me a shampoo that I can use on dogs and cats and it reduces the symptoms. I washed her with it, gave her a good brushing and then dry washed in baking soda. My auntie says if I wash her more often, my allergies should be reduced quite a bit. So that's what i'll do from now on. This product has all natural ingredients.

I also went out and bought a special rubber backed rug with a static material on top that absorbs the dog hair that I can lay in the laundry for her to sleep on. She was in there last night, apart from the digusting doggy smell in the morning, everything was ok. I took the rug outside to hang on the line and i'll put it back each night. I'll be vaccuming it daily, and also the room will be vaccumed and mopped.

So, she'll be in the laundry during the nights. Just have to find a good air freshener.
