Carina is so right. most of the time she is lol,, but that's the benefit of this kind of forum. You get to hear opinions from people that have lot's of experience and knowledge, and with nothing to gain but to share that knowledge. I'm no expert, but In my opinion, the only way to train your pup is to invest in personal time, hard work, and lot's of patience. That's the kind of bond you want anyhow. there isn't any magic pill or 14 day course that will accomplish that, it's impossible. And I'm just talking about the basics too. Training is a gradual exercise, and each session builds on the previous one. Those sessions are with you and your dog, and they should included learning as well as fun, but they have to include you. As far as having someone to teach it family protection or instill a sense of loyalty in it for you,, i guarantee that won't happen. But that's another topic completely, and gets into lots of other sub topics such as....what was the reason for getting a rottie, etc. I reccomend that you get into the "boot camp" thing. read the inormation and start applying it. Now is the best time, and it really works. good luck :)
