They do not use treats as a form of praise either, which I like. I don't think you should have to give your dog a treat everytime you want him to sit or to stay. They use words and actions as a form of praise.
If you had done your research, you would understand what treat-based training is all about as well - treats are just one way to get the desired behaviour, no dog who's been trained properly with treats needs a treat after the behaviour has been learned. The above misconception is based on inaccurate information. Not everyone has to use treats, they are not the only method, but you are just completely wrong in your assessment above. At least understand what it is you're deciding for or against. If your understanding of what this trainer does is as deep as your understanding of what correct treat training is, then I strongly suggest that you haven't done enough research.

I have to agree with everyone else. This is a big mistake. Training is good, sending away for training is bad, and anywhere that claims it does "protection training" in 14 days is a place to run away from. Please do a bit more research, do some looking here. This could absolutely ruin your relationship with your dog. Please reconsider. You need weekly obedience classes, based on positive reinforcement, that you and your dog attend. Sending a dog away for training is not the right thing to do.
