| Ditto what the others say - sending a dog away to be trained really won't accomplish that much. Plus isn't it awfully expensive? An 8 week basic obedience couse for you and your dog shouldn't cost more than $100, and you BOTH will learn a whole lot more. Plus, they are fun!
I think it is great that you are willing to learn and work with your dog though, MAJOR kudos for that. We all have to start learning somewhere, it's the dumb ones who never learn and change. :)
