...ABOUT THE POTATOES? It's not the actual potato, but the EYE or ROOT that grows out of the eye.
There are a few other things but I no longer have the site at my fingertips.
ONIONS are toxic, obviously more so to a smaller dog...mine (the Rottie) ate a thin slice once with the first and only time she ever snuck anything from my counter. I thought I'd killed her! Called the vet and they said simply watch her with her weight and size she's probably be alright. She was.
CHOCOLATE but more prevalently the kind used for baking.
VARIOUS SEEDS, like grapes,apples, and tomatoes, are reportedly toxic as well. I spoke with my vet and he said that while they were toxic, it would take a substantial quantity. (so don't worry if your pet snags an apple in the back yard and the seeds that are swallowed without damage to the casing...come out the same way)
Anyone remember some more?
