Lets just say at the time you got the insurance are you obligated to call them and tell them you got a puppy or a dog. Most people do that without even a second thought. Who would be thinking if they got a poodle "I better run home and call the insurance company and tell them we got a dog" its crazy. I think its another way for insurance companies that accept people with dangerous breeds to make more money. I for one don't even tell people that I have Rottweilers and they are licensed as mixed breeds. Its a modern day witch hunt.
