| I think most people recommend 8 weeks - healthy puppies adjust pretty easily to a new environment, and positive exposure to new things and people will probably stregnthen them, anyhow.
The few dogs I've raised from puppies I got at 8 weeks old, and they've been without exception pretty confident and stable dogs. Each Rottie (three from pups, the others adult rescues) I've had as a puppy has come to work with me almost every day from 8 weeks old - I've worked construction so they got exposed to TONS of new stimuli!! I think it's good for them personally. :)
