| Zephir, I was just "teasing" about the big "Texas Hair". We have a lot in common, though. I am also a 27 year old ex-horse girl, although I grew up riding hunt seat and switched to Western when I moved out west.
Sophies Mom is so right about all of the great things to do. The culture is wonderful. You will find the best Mexican food this side of the border. Also, the dance halls are a blast even if you don't like country music. Be sure to check out Luckenbach (near Fredricksburg) on a weekend as you never know when Willie Nelson might show up. The Riverwalk is beautiful and fun, although a bit touristy. A great and cool summer activity is to float the Guadalupe or Comal river in an innertube. If your pooches like to swim, you can take them along. It's a lot of fun.
San Antonio is also a very dog-friendly town. You can take your pals just about everywhere with you.
