I didn't intend to have this many dogs and I actually have 2 less than I did a year ago. Some of our dogs are rescues, but this is their home now and I can't part with them. We lost one of our females, Kim, to bone cancer a month ago and we had to home out Tacoma, another rescue, last summer. He started out okay, then he wanted to move up the ladder. He got into it with Boss to the tune of over $400.00 in vet bills (just for Tacoma). We kept him seperated from Boss. Then he began to get uppity with Shiloh and so on. The dog was suicidal! He's great with females and with other males in social situations, so now he lives about 10 minutes away from me with a wonderful family. As I said, this is not a situation I would recommend and I don't plan on adding any more dogs. Of course, if I was independently wealthy, it would be a different story :).
