But I can say that with the adult dogs I have right now - two males, one female - the two males get along together extremely well. I had the female first, for six odd years, and then adopted a male-
for about two years, and then added another male this year. I think the key is socialization and introduction (not to mention neutering!)
Why do you need to have a pup, maybe you can consider adopting an older dog? I have with my last three dogs and it has worked out great.
