| Hi. No, my mom hasn't gotten another Lab, and I guess i'm not sure wether we will get a male or female rott... but if we do it will be sometime this summer or after. I'm not sure about getting another male because, when my mom's dog was alive, when we brought the other lab pup in, they did get into fights, but after a while, they didn't anymore. So I don't know if that's what will happen here or what. I don't know because, never having a rott, I can't compare personality to the lab that died, because he was pretty protective, demanding, and didn't tolerate what he wasn't comfortable with. Is that close to a rott's?
On the other hand, the lab I have not is pretty mellow, and it is not too likely that he would get into fights very often (fixed), and, if the rott is fixed (saying it's a male) would that lessen the chances of fighting for dominance? Thanks. |
