| Gee,everyones in on this one eh!.....Got a lot when she was a puppy, now mostly people keep a distance. What realy BOTHERS ME is when an adult, especialy men, just come right up and try to pet her.SHE DOESN`T LIKE THAT!
She usually backs away(wait&see)and sometimes she growls. If there are on-lookers it gives the wrong impression.I`ve noticed that children ALWAYS ASK first,I tell them to let her smell your hand, then they can pet her all they want and she just loves that.

It`s what I hear people say behind my back. At our dog run last year,a nice young women with a Yellow lab(a new member)come in and has a world of information and advice for everyone.O.K you did all the research, you chose the best breed for you, your dog is pure from a good breeder, you`ve got the best trainer in town, feed the best food, buy the safest toys,Yellow lab membership exc...Once there were meny dogs so I took my though-chain out of my pocket so Selket could see.Three people asked me what it was for,I expained in detail the proper use a through-chain.When I walked away she said"oooh, she has to use a chain lol"She then gave a free lecture on the differences between posotive and negative training. She can call it what she wants, the old methods are tried&true.I have controll over my dog and that`s what counts. Her dog is always getting mounted(she`s fixed)even by other females,I should ask her to explain that, lol. |
