Well, hmmm, I know with my Thunder it's not just on his back, he mostly does it AFTER I put my shoes on (signal: mommy is going out: oh boy oh boy, I get to go with) then he sneezes and stretches. (limbering up, I'm assuming)

His sneezes mostly come after a signal from us, daily routine stuff, like going out, or playing. But we don't do it on purpose to get him TO sneeze, and he doesn't sneeze to get US to play. Maybe the excitement of something fun about to happen "tickles" their fancy and they sneeze.

I'm by all means not an expert, that's why I asked this question.
:D
