| I take my guys in my heep all the time, without any roof on (when it's not to hot), or with the roof on and the back windows removed. I use a harness on both of them and put d rings (the type climbers use with the one side that has the spring clip) on the chest part of the harness. Then I run a short lead from the harness to the floor of the jeep where I have mounted another d ring to the seat belt attachment point. Just clip the lead to the d ring and they are secured, makes it easy fro them to get in and out of the jeep, becuase you simply need to unclip one d ring. I never have the back seat in my heep, so this allows both of them to be free to move about the back, but they are both securly attached to the floor so they cannot, jump/fall out.
