| Help with my intact male
Hi,
Little background. Rolffe is still intact at 7 months because he is going to need dental surgery in the next couple of months (when I can afford it) and I would rather he only go under the knife once. So that is why he is still "all there".
My question is this; over the last couple of weeks he is doing some really stupid things and I am wondering if they are specific to him not being neutered.
Firstly, he is getting increasingly aggressive towards other dogs, not all dogs, but I really can't see a pattern either. He runs around them barking (he is not a talker) and then biting them on their necks.
Secondly, and this was the final straw for me. We ran into a dog at the park who he knows and likes. They said hello, then Rolffe lifted his leg and peed on the dog!
I couldn't believe it.
I am thinking like it or not he may be going in to be neutered next week if this is specifically due to not having him fixed. I do keep him very well socialized and work on training daily. He is due to take his next training course this fall.
Please advise... I am at a loss!
