I like the water and vinegar or water and ammonia idea, I hadn't thought of that.

In an earlier thread of a similar subject, I posted that I often carried a cane of staff to aid in these situations. I have since changed my armament. I now carry a staff with a funny looking gizmo on top with a grocery bag wrapped around it. Its called a pooper scooper, but I must admit the handle is much stouter than what came from the store. Someone asked me last week what was that funny looking thing, I told them. They thought the idea of picking up your dogs droppings was great and this was a great way to do it. I hope they were one of the people whos dog is dropping on my lawn.:)
