Because he's only 15 mos and can't be trusted in the house alone, he spends the day in his very large crate (which is in our bedroom). In the morning he gets an hour worth of romping with his toys and his breakfast while we get ready for work. Then mid-day my husband comes home to let him out for awhile. When I get home around 4:30pm he gets an hour walk, then play/working time in our front yard with me for another 30-45 minutes. Once inside, he spends the rest of the day/night following me or my husband around, playing with his toys, or just snoozing next to our bed while we're watching TV. Even though we have a big, fenced in yard, he doesn't much time out there on his own because he insists on sitting by the door until someone lets him in. Besides that, I'd rather have him with me all the time!! He also comes with me to the store, post office, petstore, and the park for working/obedience training time depending on the weather.
