| Such a sad situation. I just have to wonder how often this likely happens. Wouldn't someone who had done the euthanasia known this dog was still alive? I know she had to have suffered so badly. Kudos to the witness who comforted her in her final moments of agony. I am just glad this person did witness this and tried his best to get something done about it.
This needs to be put out to as many others as posssible. It is so hard to imagine a "dog pit" in a landfill. Pets no longer wanted dumped in a landfill like garbage!! I'm sure the majority of these dogs had been someone's beloved pet. Surely as puppies anyway. Too many people fall in love with puppies and then when they become adults no longer care about them. People need to spay and neuter their pets.
I am surprised there have not been more postings to this article. Maybe after the holiday weekend we will see more responses. We do need more of us emailing these people.
