| Most structural problems are genetic in origin. Are the sire/dam also cowhocked?? Not a whole lot you can do about it in that case.
Yes, no encouraging standing up on the hind legs...elevated dishes is thought to help tighten up the front legs, not the back. Nutrition can play a role in cow hocks eg.too little and conversely too rich a food also......Puppies can go thru cow hocked stages if kept too heavy and/OR not kept well exercised.... |
