| temperment testing
Basically I have a question? When I went to the vet yesterday for Cosmo's annual exam- They had a female Rottie approx. 1 1/2 yrs old that was brought in by animal control as a stray. They said she is very sweet. I met her and she is very friendly (didn't seem hand shy, took treats gently, knows sit) but before I would even consider bringing her home I wanted to know if there is anything I can do to test her temperment. I was possibly going to ask to take her for a walk just to see how she reacts to different things. I have a 4yr old dominant Rottie boy who likes other dogs as long as they are submissive to him. I did tell them about NERR in case she isn't claimed or adopted. Janel |
