I like a male working Rott to be about 45-50 kilos. This does not mean that I do not want one bigger if it had the correct drives etc but for a perfect dog then a bit smaller rather than bigger. I also really like a compact proportioned dog. In my time the Rotts that have hit the hardest have always been smaller dog that have been very compact and thus have great speed and agility. Clearly the mind is very important to this but in pure size terms smaller (within reason) and more compact is better.
