I'm with Soapie&Buddy'sMom on this one. Write the letter and see what sort of reaction you get. I've also heard of other people writing letters to the breed associations / clubs that the offending breeder is a part of. Just to get the 'public' support you'll need.

But I do agree that you don't want a pup from this guy and are better off without him. Better that you found out now rather than after you were tied to him with one of his pups!
