| Growing up I had always admired huskeys until I was 18 and get a job working at a kennel. The kennel I worked at bread Oes, English Cockers, Pointers, and used to breed Rotts. I knew little about this breed except their reputation. The first one I was intruduced to was Huddy. I was a new person so as I approached his play yard he growled at me. The person I was with told me it would be ok and had me follow him in. Right away Huddy came racing over wagging his butt. The sweet look in his eyes grabbed at me heart. The next one I met was Ron. He as Huddy's father. Ron acted like he had known me for years. I walked in and he jumped up, gave me a hug, licked my face and fell to the ground waiting for a belly rub. :D This turned out to be a daily ritual till he died at age 7.:( His nervous system went out. I can't ever remember crying so hard over the loss of a dog. I was hooked on Rotts. Now I have my own baby who as I type is snoring at my feet. Sharess is just 12 months old. She is so smart, and loves EVERYONE. My boyfriend wants to get another when we move next year to our new house. I know that this breed will always be in our lives. Thank god for letting me meet Ron.
