I was looking to buy a doberman recently and decided to join their listing well I talked to a few people and for the most part I enjoyed their information. Then I asked what's the difference between a Rottweiler and a doberman as far as ownership and the lights went red everyone kept saying oooooh I would never own a rottweiler they are to dangerous, they can't be trusted and theyare definetly dangerous. Sad isn't it how one set a breeders or owners would say bad things about another breed. Well I talked about the same thing on this website and some of you said the same thing that a doberman was two hyper and was not trust worthy and pretty much all the things they said about Rottweilers.


When are we going to learn that we as owners and breeders of so called aggressive dogs need to stick together. If you talk to a Mal breeder they say their dogs are the best you talk to a Anerican Bulldog breeder their dog is the best and you talk to a german shepherd breeder their dog is the best. And we all point fingers at what breed is the worse and can't be trusted. In reality it's the owners who set the stage for what their dog will be become. All these laws popping up against dangerous breeds some breeders are well it's not my breed just the pitbulls or not my breed just the rottweilers, or not my breed just the dobermans. SOme of us even when we see another breed attack or hurt someone we have a sigh of relief as to say "At least it wasn't my breed" In all actuality we need to satrt banning together to educate and team up with owners and breeders of other working or protection breeds so that when they come for their breed they come to our aid so when they come for our breed we are their for them. If not we will all be walking around with poodles in the future and all so called dangerous breeds will be banned.

I'm not saying sell your views on any dog it's just we have to make a allied front to preserve the right to won and breed protective breeds form Dobermand, to Mals, To Rottwielers to American Bulldogs to whatever because that's what they do they ban together at congress and on the streets and everyday add another breed to their list so that they can make sure they stay allied. I'm not a gun owner but the NRA did the same thing when they started going after small gun dealers and dealerships, owners and sellers they formed the NRA to protect the rights of all gun owners. Can't we start a united from amongst dog owners of working and protection breeds that the nest time they want to add a Rottie to the list all the other dog owners come to our aid to stop it and we come to their aid as well instead of talking bad about another breed or saying "Well thank goodness it wasn't my breed, or it's not my breed so why should I care" We should all care and start now we can stop these dog nazi's now before it gets worse if we just come together and come to everyones aid as well as educate owners of all breeds and to stomp out puppy mills. I'm not sure if this poem is right but I think it goes like this.

They came for the Indians, I wasn't indian so I didn't speak up
They came for the jews I wasn't jews I so I didn't speak up.
They came for the African Americans I wasn't AFrican AMerican so I didn't speak up.
They came fo rthe spanish I wasn't spanish so I didn't speak up.
Then they came for me and their was no one left to speak for me.

I bring this all up because their have been so many people uniting to get rid of what they call dangerous breeds and when we let them add one breed then they add another and another. They push for people who own these breeds to have more insurance, get kicked out of dog parks, banned from owning a dog without having it muszzled and we don't stand together we just hope they don't come after our breed. Well they are and all the others as well and they are united not divided. Let's try and ban together to save all working and protective breeds. Once they find out we're banning together it'lkl be allot harder for them to get what they want next time they want to ban our breed or any others. I'll await comments.
